The brisket and ribs were good. The service was good. The rest was poor. The sweet potatoes fries were cold and raw. The po boy bun was straight out of package, cold n dry. The roll was cold n hard. Deffinetly NOT what I expected from the good reviews.

I've had Main Street BBQ before but always as takeout. Yesterday my boyfriend and I drove from Denison to Durant to pick up some metal then decided dining in at Main Street BBQ sounded like a good plan.. We were not disappointed ? The atmosphere is great, the staff is fun and the food is always on point... I'd drive from Texas any day to enjoy their greatness?

The best BBQ in Durant! I love coming here! My favorite is the big stuffed baker with chopped brisket. My only complaint is that they don't have cherry cobbler very often.

Well deserving of a 5-star rating in fact I wish there was a 6th star. Very nice little restaurant with some of the best barbecue I've ever had. The waiter asked if I had been here before and when I said no, he said just a minute I'll be right back and brought me a plate with a small piece of every meat they have. Every one of them was delicious which made the choice about what to order that much harder. The easy solution was for me just to come back every night all week and try some of everything. Prices are very fair. Everything I've eaten here has been absolutely delicious.

Got a summer salad with blueberries, pecans, spring greens and smoked chicken which was wonderful! I appreciated having a different and lighter option. Hubs had traditional BBQ which he really enjoyed - he got mashed potatoes as a side which were OK but he raved about the brisket, chicken and beans. My son got a fried chicken sandwich, it was also outstanding. Well fried and seasoned with crispy bacon. He got fried okra as a side and they were tasty, fresh and hot. Definitely will go back next time we visit the kiddo - wish it was in our home town.

Best BBQ in Durant. The chicken ain't dry. Beef is good. Hot links have great flavor

Awesome little laid back restaurant in downtown Durant. My baked potato was as big as a dinner plate, served on a dinner plate and took up the whole thing! Spicy fried green beans served with Ranch for dipping was very good. Actually everything we tried was good, but we have never had fried green beans before so they stood out for us. Got our food surprisingly quickly after ordering in spite of them being fairly busy. Very good, friendly service. We will be back!

Road tripping and stopped here for lunch. Wow! Do yourself a favor and eat here. I had the rib plate (smallest is 6 ribs), green beans, and apple cider cole slaw. I have plenty leftover for another meal. Everything was delicious, and I am no stranger to good bbq. The mild sauce was really good, not super sweet. Waitress was a sweetie too. Will return again if in the area.

My husband and I ate there for the first time today and we found our new favorite spot! We had a pulled pork sandwich and it was literally the best we ever had! Great looking on the inside, friendly staff. The food was served to us very quickly! Definitely will be coming back!
